The government company
The government is just a company; it has workers who do their jobs and it pays them salaries, just like any other company.
Examples of corporations posing as "governments"
The difference between the government company and other companies is that the government company imposes itself upon other companies as well as people.
It gets away with this because people think the government company is different and has special rights.
The British government company charges people for a TV license, which funds the BBC regardless of which TV channels people watch.
That's like if McDonald's charged people for a food license, which funds McDonald's food regardless of which food people eat.
Might makes right
The only law we live under (and will ever live under) is the law of the jungle. The government can only extort and imprison innocent people because it is the mightiest force of the land. I define might as strength and the willingness to use it. The population is stronger than the government but isn't willing to fight.
If McDonald's was mightier than the government, they would be able to impose a food license. Therefore, the government doesn't have special rights to extort and imprison people - all people and companies have the ability to extort and imprison people, so long as they are mighty enough.
If a bunch of people were to come together as a company and impose a new law that says, for example, that pedophiles get the rope - that would be no less unjust than a government imposing any other law.
Breaking contracts
People are not under the superstition that McDonald's has the right to prosecute them for breaking the McLaws that they didn't agree to, and if the McPolice tried to fine them for not paying the food license, people would fight back - and rightfully so.
In the same sense, you have the moral right to fight back against the government company that tries to prosecute you for breaking one of its ever changing laws that you didn't agree to.
Morality of laws
All laws are immoral as they impose upon the free will of another person. However, if you are strong enough to enforce a law and you believe it to be righteous (e.g. necessary to protect people), then you should enforce it, regardless of whether people believe you to be legitimate (government company) or not (person or company).
Moral of the story
Pass your own laws and enforce them. Look at government company laws as having the same legitimacy as McLaws.

Side note
Many viewers of Star Wars saga, think that Darth Vader was the “bad guy”.
I suggest you all watching again the whole series and focus on all Vader’s actions and words. He was actually The Balance into The Force, he was forced to join (briefly) with Emperor Palpatine, in order to bring down the Empire. His main goal was peace and be with Amidala… Palpatine fooled him into believing that if will join to the Sith it could bring Amidala back. Was a lie. He knew also about the “other side” of the Jedi.
The Jedi and The Sith are just the today’s “left and right” political sides.
Darth Vader wanted Luke to join him into bringing down both sides and finally have The Balance into The Force. Think again why Luke Skywalker after Vader’s death decided to isolate himself. He realized the mistake he did for not joining forces with Vader.
